The image is a photo I took while walking onto North Piha Beach, on the West Coast of Auckland, New Zealand. It is a crisp early autumn day, the sun is nearly setting and is shining golden between some fluffy clouds onto the ocean and the beach. There is one couple walking side by side in the far distance, and another individual by themselves. When I look at the picture I see beauty and warmth, I feel connected and grounded and not alone. I get the sense, from all the foot prints on the sand, that even though my journey is my own, I am not alone in it.
